I thought it would be a good contrast. A nice peachy pink and cocoa brown with some coordinating greens thrown in.This is how the sock is turning out:
You can barely see the stripes. I love the colors. The pattern is great fun. The yarn is very nice - but no stripes!Alas

When they are finished and on the foot you will see very subtle stripes...they're lovely!
I don't expect to make it past this round - but boy, do I love my socks!

I think the pinky one is the same as the lace yarn I was talking to you about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A coincidence? Perhaps not.
I do see some strips; I have been accused of seeing other things so maybe that is not reassurance. I think they are just beatimous!
